What does the Government Relations Committee do?
The committee leads FSAC’s advocacy efforts and brings science and technical expertise to aid policymaker understanding of fragrance issues. This committee examines legal issues at the state and federal levels. We advocate for science-based policy proposals with our industry perspective, to ensure the safe use of fragrance ingredients. Constantly keeping abreast of issues affecting the fragrance industry allows us to advocate for and provide education about the unique world of fragrance creation.
Who are the GRC members?
The Government Relations Committee consists of members with a combined total of several decades of regulatory affairs and legislative experience. All FSAC members are welcome to join.
Who does the GRC collaborate and engage with?
The committee works with industry allies and trade associations on issues of mutual interest. We regularly engage with government officials and stakeholders in FSAC’s extensive international and domestic network. With our focused science and technical advocacy approach, our network continues to expand as we raise awareness on key fragrance topics.
